LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The Aggies have added another disruptor to their defensive line.
Junior-college product
Dassani Freeman signed his National Letter of Intent on Tuesday, joining the NM State football program ahead of the 2020 season. The junior has two years of eligibility left and can play immediately.
A native of Simi Valley, Calif., Freeman attended Grace Brethren High School and spent the last two seasons at Ventura College. He recorded 25 total tackles, including 5.0 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks, during his rookie campaign in 2018 before totaling 33 tackles, including 2.0 tackles for loss, last season as a sophomore.
Freeman's addition brings the Aggies' 2020 signing class to 24.Â
