LAS CRUCES, N.M. - A total of 16 current and former NM State student-athletes joined the growing ranks of Aggie alumni across the land by taking part in the university's Fall 2021 Commencement exercises this weekend.
Two separate commencement ceremonies - one for all individuals who received their master's degrees and another for those who collected bachelor's degrees - were conducted inside the Pan American Center Friday (Dec. 10) and Saturday (Dec. 11).
The Aggies' football team boasted the highest number of graduates with seven student-athletes receiving their degrees. Men's cross country and volleyball boasted two graduates apiece as did women's track & field (one bachelor's degree, one master's degree).
Men's golf, women's basketball and women's tennis each had one current or former student-athletes collect undergraduate degrees.
Below is a complete list of student-athletes who took part in this weekend's commencement exercises. NM State's alumi base now numbers at over 130,000 individuals.
