LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The NM State men's golf team will play its second tournament this week, as they head to Bryan, Texas, for the Aggie Invitational at the Traditions Golf Club. The teams will play single rounds on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday's and Saturday's rounds will begin at 7:15 a.m. with the final round on Sunday beginning at 6:30 a.m.

The Aggies will face its biggest challenge of the season, as the stacked 17-team field features No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 5 Texas, No. 12 Texas A&M and No. 25 Texas Tech. Overall, the field features five teams from the Big 12, one team from the ACC, one team from the SEC and one team from the Big Ten. 

Last Time Out
Aidan Thomas led the way for the Aggies, as he posted his third top 25 finish of the year at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic in Houston, Texas. Thomas shot a 54-hole score of 215 (-1) to tie for 21st. Garrison Smith and Alvaro Morales each shot a 224 (+8) and 226 (+10) to finish second and third in the Aggie lineup. Mauricio Figueroa and Steven Strasheim rounded out the Aggie lineup with scores of 226 (+10) and 227 (+11).
