LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Future Aggie swimmer Lina Khiyara qualified for the Tokyo Olympics where she will represent her home nation of Morocco.
 
The freestyle specialist is no stranger to the world stage as she represented Morocco at the 2019 World Aquatic Championships in Gwangju, South Korea, and the 2019 African Games in Rabat, Morocco. At World Aquatic Championships she swam the 50 and 100 Free while competing in a number of events at the African Games including the 400 and 200 Free.
 
Khiyara is set to join an NM State squad that posted a second-place finish at WAC Championships a season ago.
