LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Just a few months after appearing in the WAC Women's Tennis Tournament championship bout, the NM State women's tennis team is ready to return to action.
Monday morning, head coach Emily Wang unveiled the Aggies' fall 2021 schedule. NM State will take part in a total of four events through the months of September, October and November as the squad readies for its spring championship season.
NM State's first action of the fall comes in Las Cruces as it hosts the Aggie Invitational at the NM State Tennis Center on Friday, Sept. 17 through Sunday, Sept. 19.
Following their first event of the fall, the Aggies will be off for nearly one month before their next competition. The ITA Mountain Regional tournament hosted by UNLV is where the team heads next as numerous teams from the region will convene for the fall regional matches which are scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 13 through Sunday, Oct. 17.
The Aggies return to the Land of Enchantment just a few weeks later as they head to Albuquerque, N.M., to compete at New Mexico's Lobo Halloween Classic on Friday, Oct. 29 through Sunday, Oct. 31.
For their final event of the fall season, the Aggies travel to Deland, Fla., where they will take part in the Stetson Invitational on Friday, Nov. 5 through Sunday, Nov. 7.
