ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The 2022 season has drawn to a close for NM State cross country at the NCAA D1 Mountain Regional.
As a team, NM State finished fifteenth and were paced by Emily Stutesman. The First Team All-WAC selection crossed the line in 21:24.7, finishing sixtieth among competitors.
Collins Yego and Anekin Hetman represented the men's team as individuals in the postseason. Yego led the way on Friday, finishing the 10K in 30:13.9.
The NM State running squads now turn their attention to the indoor track & field season which begins after the new year. The first indoor event will be the Corky Classic, hosted by Texas Tech in Lubbock on January 14 and 15, 2023.
