Final Round of All-American Intercollegiate Canceled

NM State finishes in 17th place due to inclement weather in Houston.

HUMBLE, Texas  – Due to poor weather in the area, the final day of competition at the All-American Intercollegiate has been canceled. The NM State men's golf team finished in 17th place with a team score of 617 (+41).
 
The 33rd ranked Florida State Seminoles took home the All-American Intercollegiate title, finishing with a 569 (-15). A trio of Texas teams – North Texas, Houston, and Sam Houston – finished in the remaining top four spots.
 
As a team, NM State found itself in 12th place after the opening round, shooing a 308 (+20). Alvaro Morales led the way in the opening round and shot a team-low 75 (+3).
 
Morales paced the Aggies on Monday, finishing the tournament in a tie for 24th place, shooting 148 (+4). Aidan Thomas finished just a stroke behind Morales and tied for 31st.
