Final Results
GLENDALE, Ariz. – In the second day of the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships,
Italia Aranzabal represented NM State in the women's 3-meter. Looking to book her trip to the NCAA National Championships, Aranzabal needed to make a splash against a loaded field.
Unfortunately, her efforts came up short in the second of her two events at the zone championships. Tallying a total score of 214.50, Aranzabal's efforts fell short of the national qualifying marks for the 2022 event.
After the competition of the zone championships, the NM State swimming and diving season has officially drawn to a close. The Aggies finished fourth in the WAC Championships and saw a trio of school records fall in the conference meet.
