LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Aggies in Paradise will, once again, kick off the athletic season for New Mexico State. This year's island-themed party is scheduled for Friday, August 19, on the floor of the Pan American Center at 6 p.m. (MT).
 
Fans are encouraged to come out and enjoy a fun-filled evening with fellow Aggie supporters, meet the student-athletes, coaches and staff members. The annual fundraiser for NM State Athletics includes dinner and a host bar in addition to both silent and live auctions.
 
The annual event traditionally sees 500 Aggie supporters in attendance and funds raised benefit the Aggie Athletic Club (AAC). The core mission of the AAC is to cover educational expenses associated with providing Aggie student-athletes with a world-class experience at New Mexico State University.
