Aggies Slotted in Sixth After Day Two of Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational

The Aggies still currently sit one shot behind Utah Tech.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. After finishing round one at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational tied for fifth place, the NM State men's golf team dropped one spot. The Aggies are one shot behind Utah Tech heading into the final round, shooting 290 (+2) on the day.
 
Aidan Thomas and Alvaro Morales led the group of Aggies by shooting even at Eisenhower – Blue Course. With today's scorecards, Thomas sits in sixth individually while Garrison Smith is tied for 11th after posting a pair of birdies on the front nine on his way to shooting two-over on the day.
 
Round Two Notes
- Javier Delgadillo had an eleven-shot improvement from round one 84 to a round two 73
- Aidan Thomas tied for fourth with eight total birdies, Smith and River Smalley tied for third in pars
- Sunday is looking partly cloudy with a high of 75, clouds in the AM clearing up by afternoon
