FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – After three days of competition, the Aggies closed out the Lumberjack Diving Invite on Sunday at Northern Arizona.
 
On Saturday, the Aggies got another impressive performance by freshman 
Mira Tinani who secured a spot in the 3-meter final with a prelims score of 264.40 to head into the finals as the fourth-highest scoring diver. Despite her best effort, Tinani ultimately finished in eighth place with a score of 215.45.
 
On the final day of the invitational, 
Mira Tinani and 
Casey Schmidt competed in the platform event which concluded as the best combined event for the Aggies this weekend. Tinani's sixth-place finish thanks to a score of 221.90 led the way while Schmidt placed 12
th with a score of 193.60.
 
The Aggie divers will take a break until Dec. 16 when they return as a team for a duel with Northern Arizona as the next event that the NM State program will compete in will be a swim-only event in Iowa City, Iowa, on Nov. 30-Dec. 2.
