NM State Set For The Aggie Invitational in Texas

| By:

Hosted by Texas A&M, The Aggie Invitational features a 13-team field

BRYAN, Texas – Hello friends, it's almost The Aggie Invitational Monday from Bryan, Texas.

With just two tournaments remaining before the NCAA postseason begins, NM State looks to make a strong push up the GolfStat rankings. Currently sitting at No. 79, the Aggies will spend 36 holes on Monday in a pairing with Florida Golf Coast and UTSA.

The Aggie Invitational has become somewhat of a staple for NM State, competing regularly in the event. While the Aggies did not head to Bryan to compete last season, Aidan Thomas made the trip to Traditions Golf Club to compete as an individual in the NCAA Bryan Regional. As a team, NM State's best finish at The Aggie Invitational came in 2015, placing sixth (901, +37).

Entering at No. 79 in the GolfStat rankings, NM State looks to put together a solid finish in Texas as postseason play rapidly approaches. The Aggies will spend 36 holes on Monday in a pairing with No. 84 Florida Golf Coast and No. 120 UTSA.

Traditions Golf Club has a rich history of hosting premier collegiate championship events, including the 2011 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships. Hosting regionals in 2006, 2010, 2016, 2018, and 2022, Traditions Golf Club is slated to host the 2024 Women's Bryan Regional and the 2026 Men's Bryan Regional.
