WACO, Texas – For the fourth time this season NM State collided with a Power Five program as they took on No. 42 Baylor on Sunday at the Hurd Tennis Center. While the Aggies were able to gain valuable experience late in the season, the Bears topped NM State 7-0.
 
DOUBLES

• The Aggies' No. 1 doubles team found themselves with a 5-4 lead, however, Anna Pinaieva and Lisa Zhu were unable to close out the match as Baylor secured wins on No. 2 and No. 3 to pick up the doubles point. 

SINGLES

• Bella Nguyen represented the only member of the Crimson & White to win a set in singles play as she defeated Brooke Thompson 6-1 in the opening set, however, Thompson was able to bounce back to secure the match with 6-4 and 6-2 wins in sets two and three, respectively.

NM State now turns its attention to its final match and final home match of the season as they get set to hose Grand Canyon on Sunday, April 16, at the NM State Tennis Center. The match versus the Lopes is scheduled to get underway at 10 a.m.
