FINAL RESULTS
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Two strongs showings in the final round of the NCAA Las Vegas Regional brought NM State to the forefront of the galleries attention at the NCAA Las Vegas Regional. In his final collegiate round,
Garrison Smith posted his best score of the regional, firing a 67 (-5).
Aidan Thomas continued his streak of consistency in Las Vegas, posting his second 70 (-2).
For the second straight day, play was suspended due to lightning in the surrounding areas of Bears Best Las Vegas. Smith was unbothered by the delay, shooting a flawless six-under over the final 11 holes of his collegiate career. Smith finished the day and his time as an Aggie with a stellar 67 (-5) to fire a 208 (-8) in the regional. Rocketing 17 spots up the leaderboard, Smith added one last top 25 to his collegiate resume.
Thomas went through his final round of the season in flawless fashion. With sixteen pars and a pair of birdies, Thomas worked a 70 (-2) to finish in a tie for 30th. Thomas' regional consisted of a pair of 70s and a 69 (-3) in Tuesday's second round.

- After a playoff, Jonas Baumgartner of Oklahoma State advanced to the NCAA Championships in the individual spot.
