FINAL RESULTS
 
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A three-shot lead to enter Tuesday slipped away from the Aggies during the final round. The Aggies shot a 299 (+11) in the final round – 19 shots off of the pace the propelled them atop the leaderboard on Monday. When the tournament concluded, NM State finished in a tie for fifth place with SIU Edwardsville.
 
Javier Delgadillo posted the top finish for NM State in the three-day event. Concluding in a tie for 17th place, Delgadillo wrapped up the event with a 75 (+3) on Monday.
 
For the second straight tournament, Alvaro Morales finished with a top 25 placing. After firing 71 and 70 in the opening rounds, Morales shot a 76 (+4) to close out the Golfweek Fall Challenge.
 
To round out NM State's scoring efforts on Tuesday, Alexandre Bauduin and Vari Mariscal both shot 74 (+2). Mariscal's final round was the lowest single-round of his young NM State career while he added three birdies in the final round.
 
Third Round Notes

• NM State posted what was tied for the second-lowest scores on par 4s with a 4.09
• Javier Delgadillo posted the best individual finish for NM State, tying for 17th place
• Alvaro Morales tied for 24th for his second consecutive top 25 finish to open the season.
• Vari Mariscal led NM State with three birdies on the day
