Weekly award follows individual title at Herb Wimberly Memorial

DALLAS – Following a standout performance at the Herb Wimberly Memorial in Las Cruces, N.M., Aggie redshirt senior Alexandre Bauduin has been named the Conference USA Co-Golfer of the Week – the league office announced on Wednesday morning. Bauduin also earned a share of the award alongside Kennesaw State's Claes Borregaard.

The redshirt senior submitted the lowest 18-hole of his collegiate career during the final round of play to propel him to the individual title at the 2024 Herb Wimberly Memorial. Bauduin's bogey-free 64 (-7) on Tuesday launched him five spots up the leaderboard and into the top spot where he cleared the field by three strokes.

For the week, Bauduin posted a 70-68-64-202 (-11) to notch the best 54-hole performance of his three-year career with the Aggies. Bauduin also headlined an Aggie team which captured the team title at the Herb Wimberly by 17 strokes in the team's final event of the fall season. This marks the Aggies' first golfer of the week award of the season.

Bauduin and the Aggies will now begin preparation for their spring season as they will not return to competition until Monday, Feb. 3, when they travel to Tucson, Ariz., to participate in the N.I.T. hosted by the University of Arizona.
