HENDERSON, Nev. – The NM State men's golf team wrapped up its week spent in Nevada as they posted a final round score of 294 (+6) to finish in 21^st place at Reflection Bay Golf Club.
 
Despite finishing with one additional stroke than they did on Tuesday, the Aggies were again much improved from Monday when they posted a 306 (+18) to turn the week into an uphill climb. In the final round, the Aggies totaled 16 birdies, however, 24 holes with bogey or worse proved costly on the last day of play.
 
On a day which three Aggies posted their best rounds of the week, NM State was paced by Alvaro Morales who posted an even 72 to close the tournament as the top Aggie on the leaderboard with a T-83 finish.
 
NM State will now be off for the next two weeks before returning to action on Monday, March 18, when they head to Tucson, Ariz., for the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate at the Tucson Country Club.
