NM State 1, No. 18 Arizona 6
The Aggies went into play with #18 Arizona State today and fell short in a 6-1 defeat on the road. NM State's lone singles victory came from sophomore Lance Urlaub, who outlasted the Sun Devils' Mikey Anderson in a hard-fought match 7-6 (7-2), 6-2 battle.
In doubles action, Urlaub and returner Patrick Lohmann secured an impressive win, defeating Anderson and Finn Willwerth 6-3.
These mark the first wins for the Aggies this spring season, with them coming against impressive competition.
