NM State 2, LA Tech 4 
Despite strong performances in doubles play and key singles victories, NM State fell short against Louisiana Tech, 4-2, in a Conference USA matchup today at the LA Tech Tennis Complex. 

The Aggies secured the doubles point behind a pair of victories from the duos of Nadia Nemeth/Anna Pinaieva and Dora Kurdi/Whitney Moon. Nemeth and Pinaieva edged out Louisiana Tech's Ana Rodrigues and Zoie Epps in a tightly contested 7-5 battle, while Kurdi and Moon earned a 6-3 win over Mio Kozaki and Nina Skoric. The third doubles match remained unfinished at 5-5. 

In singles play, Whitney Moon provided a bright spot for NM State, rallying past Maria Tsironi in a three-set thriller (3-6, 6-3, 6-3) to put the Aggies on the board. However, Louisiana Tech secured the win with four singles victories, including a dramatic three-set win by Rodrigues over Pinaieva (6-3, 2-6, 7-5) at the top court.

NM State travels to Miami next weekend for a pair of Conference USA road matchups against Liberty and FIU as they near the conclusion of regular-season play.
