2025-26 Swimming & Diving Schedule Unveiled

Aggies to host three meets across first season in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – With 20 seasons of the Rick Pratt era in the books, the legendary Aggie coach is set to lead his group into a new chapter this fall. Following two decades in the WAC, the program accepted an invitation to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation earlier this year. With a roster almost entirely intact from a season ago, NM State Swimming & Diving aims to capture glory in a new league.

Head Coach Rick Pratt, on the 2025-26 schedule: "It's exciting to head into a new season and this schedule will give our team many challenging opportunities.  This is one of the best teams in program history with many upperclassmen who are going to provide some great leadership.  We're excited to get started and make some history in a new conference."

Aggie spectators will have five opportunities to see this year's group in action from the City of Crosses. The campaign will open with an intrasquad exhibition on Oct. 1, before a triangular meet the ensuing weekend. On Oct. 10-11, New Mexico and Utah Tech will roll in for a two-day affair. Two weeks later, league foe Northern Colorado is set to visit Las Cruces for the unit's penultimate home dual meet.

On Jan. 31, the Lobos will trek 226 miles south on I-25 for the Aggies' Senior Day meet. Last year, NM State toppled its in-state foe by a commanding mark, earning a 197-102 drubbing from Albuquerque in the final regular-season meet. The victory solidified an 8-1 campaign and sent the 2024-25 squad to the WAC Championships with the highest single-season winning percentage in program history.

This season's MPSF Swimming & Diving Championships will be hosted near the campus of UTRGV. The four-day meet is set for Feb. 25-28, held at the City of Pharr-PSJA Natatorium in Pharr, Texas.
