Elam returns for third and final season in Crimson and White.

DALLAS – NM State standout Devin Elam has been named to the Preseason All-Conference USA Team, the league announced following a vote of its 12 head coaches.

Elam, a senior from Long Beach, Calif., garnered her second consecutive Preseason All-CUSA Team selection after also earning the honor ahead of the 2025 season. Last season, Elam started and played in 44 games, with all coming in the outfield.

On the year, Elam turned in 40 hits, including 14 extra-base hits to rank third on the team. This included nine doubles and five home runs. During the year, she was named CUSA Co-Player of the Week following a weekend in which she drove in seven runs, hit two doubles and a three-run home run against Jacksonville State.

Elam is one of just three seniors on this year's Aggie squad as she is joined by Kendal Lunar and Jaileen Mancha.

Elam and the Aggies will officially open their season on Friday, Feb. 6, when they play host to UMass Lowell at 3 p.m. as part of the NM State Invitational. In its opening weekend, the NM State Softball Complex will serve as the site for nine games across three days, including six contests featuring the Crimson and White.
