HUNTSVILLE, Texas - NM State wrapped up its weekend in Huntsville with a tight, low‑scoring matchup on Sunday as the Aggies battled Sam Houston in the series finale. The pitching and defense kept NM State within striking distance throughout, but a three‑run fourth inning proved to be the difference. A late pinch‑hit home run put the Aggies on the board, though the comeback ultimately fell just short in a 3–1 decision.
