NM State 4, Belmont 0 

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — NM State delivered a strong performance this morning, sweeping Belmont 4-0 at the Beaman Family Tennis Complex to close out its Tennessee road swing. The Aggies secured the doubles point and carried that momentum into singles play, winning three straight matches to clinch the victory. 

The Aggies opened the day by claiming the doubles point with victories on courts two and three. The duo of Anna Klimova and Montana Parkinson-Lubold earned a 6-3 win at the No. 2 position, while Dora Kurdi and Whitney Moon followed with a convincing 6-2 victory on court three. The No. 1 doubles match featuring Mariella Gelbke and Nadia Nemeth was left unfinished with the Aggies leading 5-4. 

In singles play, NM State wasted no time extending its lead. Nadia Nemeth put the Aggies ahead 2-0 with a dominant 6-0, 6-2 win at the No. 5 position, before Mariella Gelbke followed with a 6-3, 6-1 victory on court six. 

Anna Klimova clinched the match for NM State at the No. 4 spot, defeating Ketevan Jeladze in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2. 

A few other matches were trending in the Aggies' favor before going unfinished. Whitney Moon claimed the opening set at the top position and led early in the second, while Montana Parkinson-Lubold controlled her match at No. 2 after taking the first set 6-1. Emma Petton also battled in a competitive matchup on court three before play was halted.
