NM State Swim & Dive Announces 2026-2027 Schedule

Aggies welcome five home events to Las Cruces, including the Alumni meet and the UTRGV matchup on October 17

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – NM State Swim & Dive has announced its 2026-27 schedule as the Aggies prepare for another season under head coach Rick Pratt

The season begins at home on Wednesday, Sept. 30 when the Aggies host their annual Crimson & White meet at the NM State Swim & Dive Complex in Las Cruces. NM State remains at home to welcome the University of North Texas on Friday, Oct. 9 before hosting the annual Alumni Meet on Saturday, Oct. 10. 

The Aggies welcome UTRGV to Las Cruces on Saturday, Oct. 17 for their first conference matchup of the season. The following weekend, NM State hits the road for the first time, traveling to Colorado for back-to-back meets. The Aggies will face Northern Colorado in Greeley on Friday, Oct. 23 before competing against Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs on Saturday, Oct. 24. 

NM State returns to action November 17-20 at the Houston Invite. The four-day meet will be held at the CRWC Natatorium in Houston, Texas. 

The fall slate concludes on Thursday, Dec. 17 when NM State travels to St. George, Utah, to take on Utah Tech at the Human Performance Center. This site will serve as the host for the MPSF Swimming Championships in the spring. 

Following the holiday break, the Aggies return to Las Cruces to open the spring semester against Northern Arizona on Saturday, Jan. 9. which will also serve as the site for the MPSF Diving Championships later this spring. Two weeks later, NM State renews its rivalry with New Mexico on Saturday, Jan. 23 at Seidler Natatorium in Albuquerque looking to keep their control of the rivalry after nine consecutive wins. 

Divers will then travel to Flagstaff, Ariz., for the NAU Diving Invite on Jan. 28-30, offering one final opportunity to compete ahead of postseason action. 

Championship season begins in February as the Aggies compete at the MPSF Swimming Championships beginning Wednesday, Feb. 17, running through Saturday Feb. 20 in St. George, Utah. NM State's divers will also compete at the MPSF Diving Championships, scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 16 through Friday, Feb. 19 in Flagstaff, Ariz. 

Following MPSF Championships ,qualifying divers will return to Flagstaff for the NCAA Diving Zone Championships, which will be held March 8-10 at the Wall Aquatic Center. Qualifying swimmers will then head to Ocala, Fla., for the CSCAA National Invitational Championships from March 11-13.
