DALLAS – On Wednesday, Conference USA announced the 2027 softball conference schedule, featuring a nine-series league slate leading into the 2027 Conference USA Championship in May.
The Aggies open conference play on the road, traveling to Liberty for a three-game series from March 12-14. The visit to Lynchburg serves as the first meeting between the Lady Flames and Aggies since the 2025 season.
The Aggies then return to Las Cruces for their first home conference series of the season, welcoming Middle Tennessee from March 19-21. Following the three-game set, NM State heads back on the road for a matchup with FIU from March 25-27.
Opening the month of April, the Aggies host Jax State from April 2-4, with the all-time series deadlocked at 5-5 since the teams first met in 2024. The Aggies then welcome Kennesaw State from April 9-11 for just the second meeting between the programs and the first at the NM State Softball Complex.
Following a pair of home weekends, NM State embarks on back-to-back road trips, first traveling to Sam Houston from April 16-18 before making the journey to Delaware for a three-game series from April 23-25. The series against the Blue Hens marks the second meeting between the programs and NM State's first regular-season visit to Delaware.
The Aggies conclude their home conference schedule by hosting Missouri State from April 30 through May 2. The series will mark the Bears' first trip to Las Cruces as conference opponents.
NM State closes the regular season on the road with a three-game series against Western Kentucky from May 6-8 before turning its attention to postseason play.
The 2027 Conference USA Championship will be hosted by Jax State from May 12-15 in Jacksonville, Ala., with the league's top teams competing for the conference title and an automatic slot in the NCAA Tournament.
