Tim McManigal

 

2006: McManigal should be one of the Aggies’ starting inside linebackers in 2006.

2005 (Junior): McManigal played in 10 games for the Aggie sin 2005, starting two of those contests against Idaho (10/29) and Boise State (11/5). On the season, McManigal tallied 36 tackles, 17 of those solo efforts, as well as three tackles for a loss and a blocked kick. Versus Idaho (10/29), McManigal recorded a career-high 12 tackles, including a tackle for a loss. Against Colorado (9/10), he recorded a career-high in solo tackles with six.

2004 (Sophomore): McManigal played in seven games as a back-up linebacker and on special teams, collecting 22 tackles. He recorded a career-high seven tackles against Arkansas (9/4) and New Mexico (9/24). Versus UTEP (10/2) McManigal was in on six tackles.

2003 (Redshirt Freshman):  McManigal earned his first letter by playing in nine of the Aggies’ 12 games.  He saw extensive action on special teams and some playing time at linebacker.  He had five total tackles that season, two in back to back games against Utah State (11/6) and Arkansas (11/15).  He also had a tackle against UL Lafayette.

2002 (Freshman):  McManigal was a redshirt his first year at NMSU.

High School:  Tim attended Marist High School in Chicago, Illinois, and was a team captain as a senior.  He was named to the academic all-state and first team all-conference teams and was the team’s most valuable player.

Personal:  Timothy J. McManigal was born in Chicago and is the son of Tim and Karen McManigal.  He is majoring in General Business.
