Sophomore: Martinez played in three tournaments for the Aggies in 2013-14, recording a rounds per stroke average of 76.00. His best finish came at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate, where he finished tied for 56^th with a three-round score of 14-over par, 227.

Freshman: Martinez saw action in four tournaments for NM State in 2012-13. He recorded a strokes per round average of 74.9 for the year. His lowest round of the season a 71 came at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate (10/22-23). Martinez best finish of the season was also at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate, carding a three-round score of 7-over par, 220. He also competed at the Miner Intercollegiate (10/26-27), The NIT (3/16-17) and the Desert Shootout (3/21-23).

High School: Martinez played golf for Ironwood Ridge High School during his senior year. He helped his team tie for sixth at the Arizona High School State Championship, while his team only lost one match all season. His low score of 18 holes was a 77, while he carded a low score of 37 for nine holes. During the summer of 2012, Martinez competed in several tournaments. His best finish came at the PING Arizona Junior Masters where he won by three strokes. Out of 16 tournaments during the summer, Martinez took second six times and finished in the top-10 12 times. His low round for the summer was a 66. He also played soccer as a freshman.

Personal: Martinez is the son of Conrad ‘Emil’ and Christine Martinez. He plans to major in business.
