New Mexico State University Athletics

2015-16: Spring: Saw action in three matches in the spring…earned his first dual victory in doubles with a 7-5 win over Gonzaga’s (1/30) No. 3 doubles team…match left unfinished against UNLV’s (2/5) tandem on the road…matched up against UC Riverside’s (2/6) No. 3 doubles team. Fall: Picked up his first collegiate victory in singles against Arizona Christian’s Tyler Cawthorne 6-2, 6-2 at the Aggie Invitational…won his first two doubles matches with Christofer Goncalves, downing No. 27 Western New Mexico’s pair 8-2 and Abilene Christian’s team 8-5 before falling in the semifinals…opened the Balloon Fiesta Invite with wins over Air Force’s Tadhg Collins and Luke Sanderson 8-5…teamed up with Stijn de Haan to defeat teammates Enrique Asmar and Nicholas Springer in their next match, 8-7.
 
Prior to NM State: Played in many Great Britain Futures tournaments during his junior years…won the team tennis championship at George Spencer Academy…also took home multiple county and regional titles for singles and doubles…advanced to the round of 16 at the Aegon British Tours.
 
Personal: Son of Tass Towers and Maria Cellupica…sister Natasha plays tennis at Roehampton University in London…majoring in accounting.
