Biography

2015-16: Spring: Saw action in a pair of dual matches in the spring…matched up against Maayan Sela of Pacific (1/30)…followed up with a match against Dominique Beauvais of Weber State (1/31). Fall: Played in three tournaments in the fall, going 1-7 singles play and 2-5 in doubles action…won her opening match of the year at the Aggie Invitational and dispatched 26th-ranked Mikayla Morgan of Arizona Christian 6-1, 6-1…also won her first doubles match in the same tournament, downing Western New Mexico’s Claudia Osuna and Audrey Spencer 6-2 with Mia Brandt…picked up second doubles victory at the Lobo Fall Invitational with a 7-5 ousting of No. 59 New Mexico’s Rachana Bhat and Ruth Copas with Eli Arnaudova.

2014-15: Had a successful doubles season in her sophomore campaign with a 15-6 mark and 9-3 record in dual play…also finished singles play 11-16 overall playing mostly at the No. 4 or No. 6 slot…picked up her first-career singles victory as an Aggie against Western New Mexico’s Claudia Osuna 6-3, 6-0…won a pair of consolation matches at the USTA/ITA Mountain Regional Championships with a 7-6, 6-4 win over Jessica Cedillo of Northern Colorado and a 6-2, 6-1 defeat of Cecilia Mercier of No. 71 Wyoming…picked up a pair of wins against UT Permian Basin (6-1, 6-4) and Stephen F. Austin (6-1, 6-4), both at the No. 6 position…recorded her first dual victory in conference play with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Kailyn Skjonsby of Seattle…also defeated Grand Canyon’s Alexandra Peterzalkova 6-3, 6-3 and Seattle’s Audrey Scott 6-2, 6-4 to help NM State secure its first NCAA appearance and WAC Tournament victory…won back-to-back matches to open the year to reach the semifinals of the Aggie Invitational in doubles action with teammate Juliana Guerin…defeated Nevada’s Monika Magusiak and Sara Korzeniecki 8-5 to advance to the round of 32 at the USTA/ITA Mountain Regional Championships…teamed up with Rimpledeep Kaur to win eight of their last 10 doubles matches, including all six conference matches.

2013-14: Saw action in seven singles matches and four dual matches for NM State as a freshman and 11 matches in doubles play…played 3-of-4 dual matches in the spring at the No. 1 position and her fourth singles match at the No. 2 slot…won her first-career doubles match with Chloe Jolliff, downing Grand Canyon’s pair of Alexandra Peterzalkova and Raquel Gonzalez 8-3 in the quarterfinals of the Aggie Invitational…won two-straight dual matches at the No. 3 spot with two different partners, first with Gabrielle Joyce against Western New Mexico’s pair (8-0) and the second with Susana Alcaraz vs Arkansas State’s team (8-3).

Prior to NM State: Competed in several independent tournaments prior to joining the Aggies…ranked 29th in Canada's under-18 division and ninth in the province of Quebec...competed in the Orange Bowl and Eddie Herr International Championships as well as the American Cup in Miami, Fla….participated in the Canadian World Ranking Event U18 and the ITF Junior World Ranking event.

Personal: Daughter of Joey Thiffault and Chantal Beaulieu...majoring in international business.
