Biography

2017-18 (JUNIOR): Secured a third-place finish in the opening meet against Northern Colorado in the 50-yard freestyle (25.00)… Moved into sixth on the NM State all-time top ten swims when she posted 23.55 in the 50 free during WAC Championships.

2016-17 (SOPHOMORE):  Rodriguez had a strong first season with the Aggies after transferring from Gannon University… Finished the season with a strong showing at the Western Athletic Conference Championship, swimming lifetime best swims in all three events… Rodriguez also contributed with strong splits on the 200 free and 400 free relays… Swam a time of 23.75 in the 50-yard freestyle and finished 14th in the consolation finals with the ninth fastest 50-yard swim in program history… Also swam a time of 52.17 in the 100-yard freestyle and 56.51 in the 100-yard backstroke while finishing 10th… This was the ninth fastest performance in that event.

PRIOR TO NM State: A native of Chihuahua, Mexico, specializes in sprint freestyle and backstroke events.
