2018-19 (JUNIOR): Competed in Freestyle events for NM State…recorded a personal best 5:02.54 at WAC Championships (2/28)…set personal bests in the 1000 Free (11:10.13) and 200 Back (2:16.42) against Northern Colorado (10/13)…finished sixth at WAC Championships in the 200 Free with a personal-best 1:50.53, good for eighth-best time in program history.

2017-18 (SOPHOMORE): Wegel began the season with a fourth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle after clocking in at 1:58.98…Was one of four girls on the relay team who broke the NM State record in the 800-yard free relay during WAC Championships with a time of 7:20.21 to secure a first-place finish…Set a personal best in the 200-yard free with a time of 1:50.96… Earned Academic All-WAC honors.

2016-17 (FRESHMAN):  Posted a time of 24.04 in the 50-yard freestyle at the Western Athletic Conference Championship, finishing 19^th... Finished with a time of 51.54 in the 100-yard freestyle, which was good for 12^th place and the 10^th fastest swim all time in that event… Finished in seventh-place with the eighth fastest performance all-time with a 1:50.96 in the 200-yard freestyle at the WAC Championship...  Performed on the 800 free relay and the 400 free relay at the WAC Championship.

HIGH SCHOOL: A native of Halle, Germany, specializes in freestyle events. Personal best LCM times of 26.5 (50 free), 56.6 (100 free) and 2:03.9 (200 free).
