High School: Kassetas began her high school career as an eighth grader from 2010-2014. By being able to compete a year before most, Kassestas ended up being a five-year lettermen in track and field during high school. Kassetas helped lead Hope Christian School to become district champions from 2011-2014 and to state champions in 2011 and 2012. Kassetas holds the school record in the discus for outdoor and the indoor shot put record for the Huskies. Kassetas was champion at the Marilyn Sepulveda meet in 2014.?

Personal: Kassetas was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is the daughter of Sheryl and Vince Kassetas. ?Kassetas plans to double major in Animal Science and Spanish.
