New Mexico State University Athletics

Sophomore (2022): Competed in five meets during the outdoor season, primarily in middle distance events… Recorded a seventh place-finish in the 1500m Run with a time of 4:51.89 at the UNM Spring Invitational (April 7^th)… Set a personal best in the 1500 at the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 15^th), running a time of 4:44.00… Finished with a season-best time of 2:16.33 in the 800m at the 2022 WAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 14^th).

Freshman (2021): Competed in six meets for the Aggies...Ran the 800m run and the 1500m run while being a part of the 4x400m relay team...Posted a personal best time of 2:14.72 in the 800m run to finished fifth at the WAC Championships...Helped the 4x400m relay team take home a WAC title at the WAC Championships...Posted personal best time of 4:46.48 in the 1500m run at the Masked Rider Open to finish eighth. 

Freshman (2020): Season canceled due to Coronavirus.

Prior to NM State: Helped Alamogordo High School to win five-consecutive district championship titles in track…Placed third at the state championships in 2019…Posted a runner-up finish at the track state championships in 2018…Won a state championship title in track in 2017…Earned 12 state medals for finishing in the top six in events during her high school career including a third place finish in the 1,600m, a second place finish in the 800m and the sprint medley relay and a first place finish in the 4x400m relay…District Champion in the 800m from 2016-18…Won the 1,600m at the district meet in 2016 and the 400m in 2018…Picked up 15 district medals for track during her high school career…Won two district championships in cross country…Led her cross country team to a third place finish at the state championships in 2016…Named an all-state selection twice…Earned all-district honors all four years at Alamogordo High School…Ran a personal best time of 2:20 in the 800m…Clocked in at 5:11 for a personal record in the 1,600m…Posted a time of 19:36 for a personal best in the 5k.

Personal: Daughter of Scott and Shannon Drake…Has one sister, Sage…Cousin Jorgi Hobson swam for New Mexico…Cousin Michael Cowden played football at Eastern New Mexico.
