2023 (Junior): Led the Aggies with 30 appearances while making 13 starts… Topped the team in innings pitched (97.2), complete games (3) and saves; second in strikeouts (74)… Made her NM State debut against Colorado State (2/10), recording a pair of shutout innings and her first DI save… Notched her first win of the season after recording 3.2 innings of work with a trio of strikeouts against rival New Mexico (2/25)… Tallied a season-high seven strikeouts in five innings of work against Utah Tech (3/25)… Dealt 134 pitches in a season-high eight innings along with five strikeouts against UT Arlington (4/21)… Tied her season-high in strikeouts, recording seven in six innings of work while allowing one run against Stephen F. Austin (4/29)… closed the season with 4.2 shutout innings in a win over Abilene Christian (5/6).
2022 (Sophomore): NJCAA First-Team All-American… NFCA Second-Team All-American… NFCA First-Team All-Region… ACCAC Pitcher of the Year… First-Team All-Conference… NJCAA All-Region… ACCAC Pitcher of the Week (eight times)... Set the single-season strikeouts record with 285… Went 27-3 (second in the country in wins) with three saves, a 1.81 ERA and 285 strikeouts (third in the country and third in the country in strikeouts-per-seven innings with 12.02) in 166 innings pitched… Tossed two no-hitters on the season including a six-inning performance against No. 2-ranked Phoenix that featured 14 strikeouts.
2021 (Freshman): Earned NJCAA Third-Team All-America Honors, NJCAA Division I Region I First-Team All-Region Honors and ACCAC First-Team All-Conference Honors… Went 20-4 with a 2.43 ERA and 146 strikeouts in 123.2 innings pitched… Pitched six shutouts and notched three saves as well.
High School: Dix graduated from Volcano Vista High School in 2021. While she was in high school, she earned All-City, All-District and First-Team All-State honors with a 20-8 record, .49 ERA, 86 innings pitched and 134 strikeouts.
Personal: Daughter of Leon and Angela Dix... has one younger brother, Joey... Her cousin, Thomas Vieira, played football at the University of New Mexico (2015-2018)... Emily plans to major in communications while at NM State.
