2013 Indoor (Junior): In just her first season with NM State, Cromartie won a number of awards, including being named WAC Track Performer of the Year for the first time ever for NM State track and field.  Cromartie finished strong in every event she competed in at the WAC Indoor Championships (Feb. 21), including earning enough points for NM State to be named co-High Point Champion with 18.5 points.  Cromartie was named WAC Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 21-27 when she set a school record in the 200m, which she would improve upon later in the season.  In the WAC Championships, Cromartie earned first team All-WAC when she finished first overall in the 400m with a time of 53.11, which is both a new record for the WAC Indoor Championships and a top school record for NM State.  In the 200m, Cromartie finished third overall in the WAC Indoor Championships with a time of 23.93 to earn first team All-WAC and earned a spot as second all-time for NM State.  Cromartie also ran with the 4x400m relay team that finished first overall in the WAC Indoor Championships with a time of 3:38.38, which is also a new school record for the event.  At the Don Kirby Elite (Feb. 8), Cromartie and her teammates ran a 4x400m relay time of 3:39.53, which ranked 21 in the nation at the time.

Prior to NM State: Cromartie attended Central Arizona Community College where she competed in the indoor and outdoor track and field seasons in 2012.  Cromartie helped her team finish second in the indoor season in 2010-11 and third in the outdoor season in 2011.  Cromartie was also the Team Captain, as well as an All-American and All-Academic athlete.

High School: Briana attended Aquinas Institute where she ran track in 2008-09.  Cromartie was named as a Nike All-American in 2009.  She ran the 200m and the 400m in her time at high school.
