2008-09 (Junior): Clements was limited in her junior season with the Aggies because of an injury. At San Diego (Dec. 13), she competed in the 100 breast and 500 free. Clements also swam in the 100 breast at Loyola Marymount (Dec.19).

2007-08 (Sophomore): In her second year with the Aggies, Clements posted a solid start at the season opener against Northern Colorado/Rice (Oct. 12) in the freestyle events. She finished third in the 500 free and scored in the 200 free. On day two versus Northern Colorado/Rice (Oct. 13), Clements led the Aggies in the 1,000 free with a fourth-place finish and she scored in the 500 free. Following the season-opening weekend, Clements missed the rest of the season due to an injury.

2006-07 (Freshman): Clements had a breakout freshman year, as she was one of the Aggies’ best performers in the distance freestyle events. At the WAC Championships, Clements recorded the league’s fifth-best time in the 500 free (4:59.84) and the sixth-best mark in the 1,650 free with a time of 17:19.83. Clements also set the conference’s 11th-best time in the 1,000 free as she finished fifth at the Houston Invitational with a time of 10:35.95. She was also named to the Academic All-WAC Freshmen team.

High School: Clements came to NM State after graduating from Clear Lake High School in Seabrook, Texas. In 2001-02, she led the Falcons to a district championship and a ninth-place finish in the region. Clements was the district champion in the 500 free and the 400-free relay. She finished fourth in the region in the 500 free and was third in the 200 free at the district meet. Clements also set the meet record in the 500 freestyle at the Jingle Bell Meet. Outside of the pool, she was a member of the Junior Peace Corps.

Personal: Clements was born in Houston, Texas, and is the daughter of Joseph and Catherine Clements. She is majoring in social work.
