Biography

Prior to NM State: Amaro ran for the El Paso Community College cross country team for two season. She finished first in the 2013 and 2104 NJCAA Women's Half Marathon, with a time of 1:24.56 in 2013 and 1:25.39 in 2014. 

High School: Amaro ran cross country and was on the track and field team for Montwood High School in El Paso, Texas. She participated in the 1,600m and 3,200m run during the outdoor track and field season.
