2019 (Junior): Competed in four meets for the Aggies...Began the season at the Capital Cross Challenge where he ran the 8K in 25:37.4...Posted a personal-best at the Highlander Invitational where he ran the 8K in 25:22.0...Finished 27th at the WAC Championships with a time of 26:13.3...Ran the 10k in 34:09.2 at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships.

2018 (Sophomore): Competed in five meets… Ran 16:21.5 in the 5k at the Lobo Invitational… Posted a time of 23:36.6 in the 7k at the Lori Fitzgerald Open… Clocked in at 25:28.4 during the 8k race at the WAC Championships…

2017 (Freshman): Competed in five meets… Posted a time of 25:48.7 in the 8k race at the Bronco Invitational for a personal best time… Posted a time of 26:02.1 in the 8k race at the WAC Championships… Ran 34:31.0 in the 10k race at the NCAA Mountain West Regional…

High School: Attended Eastwood High School... Was a three-time state qualifier... Received All-City and All-District honors twice... Placed 34th at the Nike South Regional Meet...

Personal: Son of Katherine and Michael McLain... Has one brother, Joseph and two sisters Elise and Eileen... Earned Ap Scholar honors in high school... Double major in Biology and Geology
