Biography
Sophomore: Joel competed in three events last year. Joel’s best finish was in the UTEP Invite where he finished 12th with a time of 25:58. Joel also represented New Mexico State at the Sun Belt Championship where he finished 68th with a time of 33:17.
Freshman: Joel competed in five events for the Aggies, placing 60th at the Sun Belt Conference Championships in a time of 32:50.
High School: Joel was a four-year letterman in high school and qualifying for the State of New Mexico Cross Country Championships.
Personal: Joel is majoring in Biology and is the son of Miguel and Lucero Navarro. He was born on Downey, California.
