2012 Outdoor (Senior): Stoltze spent the 2012 outdoor season running a variety of long distance events for the Aggies. Stoltze posted her best 1,500m time at the UTEP Springtime Invitational (March 24) with a time of 4:48.88. Stoltze also ran the 5,000m, posting her best time of 17:22.38 at the Michael Johnson/Dr. Pepper Classic (April 21), placing her fourth all-time in the NM State record books. Stoltze ran the 10,000m at the WAC Championships (May 8), posting a time of 36:31.23 and placing second overall, earching her first team All-WAC honors and placing her fifth all-time for NM State in the 10,000m.
2012 Indoor (Senior): Stoltze
was named to the second team all-WAC for the 5,000m. Stoltze was named to the academic all-WAC
team in 2012. Stoltze spent most of the
2012 indoor season running in the 3,000m and the 5,000m for the Aggies. Stoltze posted her season-best time of
10:23.07 in the 3,000m at the WAC Indoor Championships (Feb. 23), placing her
10th all-time for NM State. Stoltze
posted a time of 17:34.20 in the 5,000m at the Washington Husky Classic (Feb.
10) for her season-best time in the event, which also placed her third all-time
for NM State. Stoltze also ran the
1-mile, posting her season-best time of 5:21.41 at the New Mexico Collegiate
Invitational (Jan. 27).
Cross Country 2011 (Senior): Stoltze
finished off her senior cross country season by earning All-Academic Honors for
the WAC and running in six events for the Aggies. Stoltze posted her two best results at the
Kachina Classic (Sept. 17) and the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree (Oct.
1). Stoltze finished ninth for NM State
and with a time of 19:28.2 at the Kachina Classic and finished seventh NM State
with a time of 19:28.5 at the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree. Stolze's best overall finish came at the Lori
Fitzgerald Invitational (Sept. 10) where she finished fourth for NM State and
13th overall. Stoltze posted her best
team finish at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships (Nov 12) by finishing
fifth for NM State and 87th overall.
Stoltze also ran well in her last WAC Championship (Oct. 29) by
finishing seventh for NM State and 31st overall.
Outdoor 2011 (Junior): Stoltze
ran many distance events in the outdoor track season, ranging from the 1,500m
to the 10,000m. Stoltze opened up the season at the Willie Williams
Classic with her best 5,000m of the season, marking a time of 18:25.15.
Stoltze tallied her best time for the 1,500m at the 2011 Mesa Classic with a
time of 5:01.96. Stoltze recorded her best time for the 3,00m at the
Bobcat Invitational with a time of 10:43.71. Stoltze ran her best 10,000m
at the Mt. SAC Relays with a time of 36:48.41.
Indoor 2011 (Junior): Stoltze
ran the 3,000m and the 5,000m for all of the indoor track season in 2011.
Stoltze's best time for the 5,000m came at the Washington Husky Classic with a
time of 17:46.1, and her best time for the 3,000m came at the WAC Indoor
Championships with a time of 10:32.85.
Cross Country 2010 (Junior): Stoltze
ran two regular season meets and two post season meets for NM State upon
joining the Aggie squad. Stoltze ran a 20:19.9 at the Kachina Classic,
good for 27th overall and 12th for NM State. One of Stoltze's best
performance came at the Lori Fitzgerald Invitational when she placed first for
NM State and sixth overall with a time of 18:09.0. At the WAC Championships,
Stoltze placed 34th overall and fifth for NM State with a time of
18:52.43. Stoltze also made an impact at the 2010 NCAA Mountain Regional
Cross Country Championships by placing fourth for NM State and 88th overall
with a time of 22:52.5.
Prior to NM State:
Stoltze ran at Moorpark College in Moorpark, Calif., from 2008-10. Stoltze was
an All-American in the 5,000m and 10,000m in 2009 and an All-American in the
5,000m in 2010. Stoltze set school records in the 5,000m and 10,000m with times
of 17:41 and 37:21 respectively. Stoltze was also the Western State Conference
Champion in the 5k in 2010 and was named the Moorpark College Athlete of the
Year.
High School: Stoltze
lettered in track and field four years and cross country three years while
attending Moorpark High School. Stoltze ran the mile in 5:26 and two mile in
11:26 while earning most valuable player honors in 2007 and 2008.
Personal: Stoltze is
the daughter of Steve and Susan Stoltze. She was born in Thousand Oaks, Calif.,
and is pursuing a degree in communication studies.
