2014 Cross Country: During the 2014 season, Starr was seen competing in four meets for the Aggies, including the Western Athletic Conference Championships. Starr posted his best 8k time of 25:41.7 at the Bronco Invitational on Oct. 18. Starr recorded his best 4m time of 21:41.6 at the Texas Tech-New Mexico State-UTEP Double Dual (Aug. 29). In the 8K WAC Championship, Starr competed against 55 other competitors and placed 22nd overall with a time of 26:30.0 averaging a time of 5:19.8 per mile.

2013 Cross Country: During the 2013 cross country season, Starr competed in six meets, two of which were the WAC Conference Championships and the NCAA Division I Mountain Region Cross Country Championships. Starr finished in sixth place in the 4m with a time of 22:10.2 at the Texas Tech-New Mexico State duel (Aug. 30). Starr placed fourth in the 5k with a time of 16:37.0 at the 2013 Kachina Classic (Sept. 28). Starr recorded his best 8k time of 26:11.3 at the Rim Rock Farm Collegiate Classic (Oct. 5). Starr recorded his best 10k time of 32:43.2 at the NCAA Division I Mountain Region Cross Country Championships (Nov. 15).

Everett Community College: Starr ran cross country and track for two seasons for the Everett Community College Trojans.? He helped the cross country team earn the NWAACC Cross Country Championship in 2011.? Starr was a part of the 2012 team that finished third in the NWAACC Cross Country Championship. Starr helped the Trojans become back-to-back Northern Region Champions in 2011-12.

High School: Starr competed in track and field and cross country at Mark Morris High School in Longview, Wash.? He earned three varsity letters in cross country and four varsity letters in track and field. ?Starr set the record at Morris High School in the 3,200m run with a time of 9:29.12.? His best 5K time in cross country was 15:58.4.? He earned the Most Inspirational, Captain’s Award and the Heart Award at Mark Morris.

Personal: Starr is the son of Brannon Starr and Patty May and was born in Longview, Wash.? He plans on majoring in education and math.
