New Mexico State University Athletics

Cross Country 2011 (Freshman): Rueda ran in four events for the Aggies in the 2011 season.  Rueda posted both his season-best time and team finish at the Grand Canyon Invitational (Oct. 8) when he finished fifth for NM State with a time of 27:15.5 in the 8K.  Rueda also ran in the Lobo Invitational (Sept. 3), the Lori Fitzgerald Invitational (Sept. 10) and the Kachina Classic (Sept. 17).

High School: Rueda lettered in cross country and track during his time with Mayfield High School in Las Cruces, N.M., in 2009-10.  Rueda placed fifth in state in the 800m and helped his medley team place third in state in 2009 as the Trojans won the district championship. 

Personal: Rueda is the son of Maria Rueda and plans to major in exercise science.
