2016 Cross Country: Competed in five meets... Finished in 32^nd place at the WAC Championships when he clocked in at 26:40.5... Ran a season best 24:28.3 in the 8K at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational for a 18^th place finish... Placed 10th at the 42^nd Charles Bowles Willamette Invitational when he clocked in at 25:13.8 in the 8K race

2015 Cross Country: Competed in five meets… Best 8K finish at Santa Clara Bronco Invitational on Oct. 17, placing ninth with a time of 24:17.3… At NCAA Mountain Regional finished with a time of 33:19.2 in 10K.
 
Prior to NM State: Ran cross country for the El Paso Community College... Posted personal-best times of 15:52.00 in the 5K run and a 25:06.76 in the 8K run.

High School: Ran cross country and track and field for San Elizario HS... First Team All-District... Eagle Award recipient... Aguila Award recipient... District and Regional Champion.

Personal: Son of Juan De Santiago and Aide Romero... Has two brothers, Rodrigo De Santiago and Luis Garcia... Has a sister, Karla De Santiago... Majoring in accounting.
