High School: Williams was a member of two state champion cross country teams as a member of Burlington-Edison High School in Burlington, Wash. Williams ran personal best times of 4:19 in the 1600m, 9:32 in the 3200m and 15:45 in the 5K.

Personal: Williams is the son of Brian and Suzanne Williams. He was born in Centralia, Wash., and plans to major in criminal justice.
