New Mexico State University Athletics

2013 Indoor (Sophomore): Trujillo ran a variety of middle distance events for the Aggies in the 2013 indoor track and field season.  Trujillo competed in the 1-mile for most of the season, posting her best time of the season at the Don Kirby Open (Feb. 9).  Trujillo also ran the 3,000m towards the end of the season, running her best time at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic (Feb. 1), and running at the WAC Indoor Championships (Feb. 21) as well.  Trujillo also ran the 4,000m distance medley at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic and the 800m at the New Mexico Cherry and Silver Invitational (Jan. 18).

2012 Cross Country (Sophomore): Trujillo competed in four events for the Aggies in the 2012 cross country season.  Trujillo's best overall finish came at the Lori Fitzgerald Invitational (Sept. 7) when she finished 21st overall.  Trujillo posted her best time at the Kachina Classic (Sept. 15) when she finished in a time of 20:51 in the 5K.  Trujillo also competed in the Lobo Invitational (Aug. 31) and the Grand Canyon Invitational (Oct. 6). 

2012 Outdoor (Freshman): Trujillo competed in the 800m and the 1,500m to open up her NM State career for the 2012 outdoor season.  Trujillo's best time in the 800m came at the New Mexico Tailwind Invitational (April 6) and her best finish in the 1,500m came at the UTEP Springtime Invitational (March 24).  Trujillo also ran the 4x400m relay at the New Mexico Tailwind Invitational. 

2012 Indoor (Freshman): Trujillo did not compete during the 2012 indoor season.

High School: Trujillo attended Los Alamos High School where she ran cross country and middle distance for track.  Trujillo lettered in cross country and track during her entire high school career.  Trujillo assisted the Los Alamos HS cross country team win the state championship in 2006 and 2009 and the district championship from 2006-10.  Trujillo also contributed to the track team as it won three-consecutive state championships from 2009-11 and district championships from 2008-11. 

Personal: Trujillo is the daughter of Ron and Peggy Trujillo and plans to major in psychology.
