Biography

2007-08: In the fall semester, Caitlin competed against Texas A&M in the ancillary reining class and earned a score of 68.Throughout the season, she was a key contributor in running the home competitions. She also was a warm up rider at the Varsity Equestrian National Championships.  
2006-07: At the home competition against Georgia, Caitlin won with a score of 72.5 in the horsemanship. Also in the competition against OSU, in the reining, she earned a point for her team by winning with a score of 67.5. At the Varsity Equestrian National Championships, Caitlin was a barn manager and schooled horses for the competition. She also was awarded the “Work Horse” Award at the Year End banquet.
2005-06: Varsity Equestrian - At the Varsity Equestrian National Championships, Caitlin was the alternate horsemanship rider.
I.H.S.A.- Caitlin placed 2nd in both Walk Trot Canter and Novice Horsemanship Team classes at Zones in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Her finish in the Hunt Seat class helped the team earn the Zone Reserve Champion title. She helped move the Western Team to win the title of Regional Champion. She was chosen as the Western AQHA Team Novice rider to compete at the I.H.S.A. National Horse Show in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and placed 6th. The point she earned helped pull the team to a 4th place finish overall.
High School: Caitlin attended Sierra High School in Tollhouse, Calif., where she was a member of FFA and the 4-H club. She was also a member of her State 4-H Judging Team.
Personal: Caitlin was born in Fresno, Calif. and is the daughter of Scott and Joan Adams. She is a Agricultural Business and Economics major
Riding History: Caitlin has been involved with horses since she was 5 years old; competing in 4-H and local shows in the Hunt Seat and Western divisions, trail, and showmanship.
