Biography
2014 (Sophomore)Competed in both Equitation over Fences and Equitation on the Flat… Compiled a 4-5 record in Equitation over Fences and a 2-0 record in Equitation on the Flat... Earned Most Outstanding Player honors twice in Equitation on the Flat… Competed at the National Collegiate Equestrian Association National Championship Tournament in Equitation over Fences… Awarded a National Collegiate Equestrian Association Academic Honorable Mention.
2013-14: Cromwell competed in Equitation over Fences during her freshman campaign with NM State. She competed in three meets recording a 2-1 record on the season. Her first win came in her first competition as an Aggie against South Dakota State (9/28) winning by 6.0 against her opponent with a 64.0 score. Her second win came against West Texas A&M (3/22), defeating her opponent 78-73.
High School: Cromwell will be joining the Aggie Hunter Seat squad from Sedalia, Colo., where she has had much success as an equestrian athlete. She is regularly competitive in the High Junior Jumper division and equitation medals. In the fall of 2012, Cromwell was one of only 16 junior riders in the country selected for the USHJA Emerging Athletes Program National Clinic in Gurnee, Ill. Cromwell is also a successful student - maintaining a 3.5 GPA throughout her high school career. She is a member of the National Honor Society and is the French president of the World Language National Honor Society. She will graduate high school having accrued more than 100 hours of community service.
Personal: She is the daughter of Toby and Melissa Cromwell and plans to major in engineering at NM State.
