2012-13: In her first season with the Aggies, Cruse rode three times in the horsemanship. Her 73-69 win against South Dakota State’s Hillary Bassinger earned her MOP accolades. Cruse represented the Aggies at the NCEA National Championship (4/18-20) in the Horsemanship. Cruse was named Rookie of the Year for the season.

High School: Cruse is a 2008 graduate of Pilot Point High School.  She was the 2011 National High Point All-Around Non Pro rider for the Appaloosa Horse Club while also securing high point titles in Western Horsemanship, Trail, Western Pleasure, and Hunter Under Saddle.  She claimed 3rd place honors in Horsemanship and Western Riding at the 2011 Appaloosa World Championship, while picking up top ten honors in Western Pleasure, Trail, and Hunt Seat Equitation.  Cruse also garnered top ten finishes in trail and western riding at the 2011 Appaloosa National Championship.  Cruse earned her Non Pro Supreme Championship from the Appaloosa Horse Club.

Personal: Cruse is the daughter of Steve Cruse and Karen Scarberry and is from Pilot Point, Texas.  She is studying individualized studies at NM State.
