2014 (Freshman)Competed in Horsemanship… Earned a 5-4 record… Earned Most Outstanding Player Honors against Delaware State University… Season high score of 76.5… Competed at United Equestrian Conference Championship Tournament and at the National Collegiate Equestrian Association National Championship Tournament.
Las Cruces, NM native Hallie Padilla will join the horsemanship squad next fall. Padilla comes to NM State with extensive experience showing at the AQHA major shows in horsemanship, western riding, and showmanship. She is a three-time AQHYA World Championship Finalist and has 32 AQHA All-Around titles to her credit. Padilla has been Top-10 at the All-American Quarter Horse Congress in 14-18 Western Riding and Showmanship and twice made the finals in the Horsemanship. She has AQHA Superiors in Horsemanship and Showmanship and many circuit awards. Padilla is an honor student and a member of the national honor society at Las Cruces High, is active in her FFA chapter and will graduate with extensive college credit. She is the daughter of Fig and Sue Padilla.
