2014 (Junior)
Competed in Reining… Named to the National Collegiate Equestrian Association Academic First Team.

2013-14: Story competed for the Aggies four times during the season with the Reining squad. With a 2-2 record, Story’s first win came against University of Tennessee- Martin (9/28), winning by 20.5 against her opponent and scoring a 70.5. Her second win of the season came against West Texas A&M (3/22), with a score of 74.5 and a win margin of 7.0. She was named to the 2014 NCEA Academic first-team and the NCEA Honor Roll.

2012-13: Story did not compete for the Aggies in the 2012-13 season.

High School: Story graduated with honors from Southridge High School, where she served as 2012 senior class Secretary and tallied more than 200 hours of community service.  She finished in the top five in the Showmanship at the 2011 AjPHA World Championship Show in the Youth Team Tournament and was the Oregon Quarter Horse Association Beginning Reining Buckle Winner. A four-year letter winner on her high school equestrian team, Story is a multiple Oregon High School Equestrian State Championship qualifier.  Story won Reserve National Championship honors in Public Speaking at the 2011 National 4-H Congress and is a 2012 qualifier for the AQHA Novice Championship Show.

Personal: Story is the daughter of James and Anne Story and is from Beaverton, Ore., her older sister Stefanie is also on the Equestrian team at NM State.  Story is studying kinesiology and exercise science at NM State.  She currently trains with Wayne and Tory Brooks.
